Taylor Newton Joins EEA
We are thrilled to announce that Taylor Newton has joined the Eriksson Engineering Associates, Ltd. (EEA) marketing team! Taylor completed an internship with EEA over the spring and has jumped right into providing marketing and business development support as a Marketing Assistant. Taylor is a proud Public Relations alumna of Marquette University. Welcome, Taylor!
727 West Madison Receives Excellence in Structural Engineering Award
Congratulations to WSP, FitzGerald Associates Architects, and all of the project team for receiving the Excellence in Structural Engineering Award in the Best Project – $50 Million to $150 Million category from the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAOI) for 727 West Madison. EEA created a cost-efficient stormwater management plan that reduced the amount of new concrete needed on the project. Photo Credit: FitzGerald
Collins Elementary School Construction
Construction is well underway for the two-story, four-classroom addition to Collins Elementary School at 407 S. Summit Drive in Schaumburg. EEA is providing civil engineering services on this project, which is the most significant upgrade to any of Schaumburg Township Elementary District 54’s 28 buildings this summer. The planned addition at the northeast corner of the school will increase the size of the currently 61,650-square-foot building by 6,400 square feet.
