EEA’s Jeff Geldmyer recently attended the groundbreaking for Phase 2 of the Mount Prospect Park District’s Lions Park. We’re excited to see that the construction fencing is up, and things are underway for the new recreation center and public pool. In addition, the project will include new pickleball courts, a skate park, path improvements, bocce ball, shelters and a basketball court.

EEA is proud to provide civil and traffic engineering for this transformative project, which will offer much-needed enhancements to one of MPPDs flagship parks. It was wonderful to see a community in full support and eager to make use of the new offerings! Full opening for Lions Park is anticipated for summer 2027.
