Glen Eriksson Life Member of ASCE

Congratulations to EEA’s President, Glen Eriksson, on advancing to Lifetime Membership with the Illinois Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

Glen began his career over 40 years ago, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Michigan Tech University and joining the Barton-Aschman team. He was very active in ASCE – Illinois in the early years of his professional career and served on the Illinois Section Board of Directors while Chair of the Associate Member Forum (now the Younger Member Group).

After obtaining his Illinois PE, and working for Land Design Collaborative and Haeger Engineering, Glen took the leap to establish Eriksson Engineering Associates, Ltd., where he has served as its President for the last 30 years. While starting out as a small civil engineering shop in Grayslake, the firm has grown into a 30-person firm with offices in Chicago and Milwaukee and adding service lines in traffic engineering and landscape architecture.

Glen has also proudly served on the Grayslake Community High School District 127 Board of Education for sixteen years and continues to serve on Condell Hospital’s (Libertyville) Development Council, as well as the Executive Committee of the Service Associates for the Illinois Association of School Boards.

Congratulations to Glen for reaching this ASCE milestone and demonstrating your dedication to advancement of civil engineering and leadership in the industry.
