Stephen Corcoran, PE, PTOE

Director of Traffic Engineering

Stephen brings more than 35 years of experience to EEA. As the Director of Traffic Engineering, Stephen works on traffic impact studies, transportation planning, and parking studies for a variety of development and redevelopment projects. He evaluates site plans for proper access, circulation, and parking. Additionally, he regularly testifies at planning and zoning hearings.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton. He is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, and Wisconsin, and is certified as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE). Stephen also belongs to the Institute of Transportation Engineers (Fellow) and is an Illinois Section Past President.

Stephen is an adventurer who loves to paddle about in his kayak and take backpacking trips. He is a 35-year member of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), currently serving as Scoutmaster and High Adventure Leader for a BSA troop in Palatine, Illinois. Stephen has four grown children and one absolutely adorable grandson.
