Stephen Corcoran, PE, PTOE

Director of Traffic Engineering

As the Director of Traffic Engineering, Stephen works on traffic impact studies, transportation planning, and parking studies for a variety of development and redevelopment projects. He evaluates site plans for proper access, circulation, and parking. Additionally, he regularly testifies at planning and zoning hearings.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton. He is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, and Wisconsin, and is certified as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE). Stephen also belongs to the Institute of Transportation Engineers (Fellow) and is an Illinois Section Past President.

Stephen is an adventurer who loves to paddle about in his kayak and take backpacking trips. He has been a Boy Scouts of America (BSA) leader and has served as Scoutmaster, Assistant Scout Master and High Adventure Leader for a BSA troop in Palatine, Illinois.
