George joined EEA shortly after it was founded in 1995 and is among EEA’s most tenured staff. Though recently retired, George will stay on as a special consultant for the firm.
As a self-proclaimed “geek,” George has always enjoyed the challenge of digging into complicated designs, problems, and calculations. His analytical nature led him to become EEA’s first Technical Director, and today he continues to keep the team informed on new technologies and ideas in the industry. When working with clients, he focuses on enhancing the end-user experience, producing site designs that seamlessly integrate access, functionality, and aesthetics.
In addition to receiving his undergraduate degree in civil engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. This unique skill set makes him an outstanding resource for his clients and colleagues. George is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois and Indiana.
George has no shortage of hobbies and interests. He enjoys planning trips abroad with his wife Carol, brewing his own beer, and practicing his German-speaking skills.
