For over ten years, Yulivan Carriers Inc. has been “Moving your Freight Forward.” Yulivan provides dry van, temperature-controlled and HazMat transportation services all over the United States. Yulivan is a Chicago-based transportation company that also offers clients a truck and trailer service center in Northbrook, IL, and 24/7 roadside service in the Chicago area, on top of their transportation services.

After understanding the client’s needs, Eriksson Engineering Associates, Ltd. (EEA) provided civil and landscape architecture services for their new Truck Maintenance Facility and Office Building. The site had more than 18 inches of grade difference. EEA provided earthwork modeling to determine the optimal elevation of the building to minimize earthwork movement on and off the site. EEA designed stormwater conveyance and overflow routing to prevent water from building up. Additionally, when assisting with site design, EEA provided truck turning models and truck dock/parking maneuvering.
