Takisawa Build-To-Suit

EEA partnered with Kajima Building & Design Group and Kajima Associates, Inc. to develop a new 13,100 square foot facility for Takisawa, Inc.

Takisawa is a manufacturer of precision machine tools for the manufacturing industry. The facility will serve as Takisawa’s United States headquarters and will consist of 4,700 square feet of office and 5,600 square feet of warehouse space with an additional 5,000 square feet of expansion capability. The new facility includes 2,800 square feet of showroom space to allow Takisawa to display their products, often large and difficult to move, to their manufacturing clientele.

EEA provided design and permitting services for the project, working with the Village of Schaumburg to permit this project prior to the implementation of the new Cook County Watershed Management Ordinance. The timing of this coordination saved Takisawa tens of thousands of dollars in additional permitting requirements.
