Revolution Brewery

Revolution Brewing is an award-winning brewery and is Illinois’ largest independently-owned brewery located in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago. Once a 100-year-old printing factory, it is now a popular spot for Chicagoans to grab a craft beer and fresh food with ingredients from local sources. The owner, Josh, got his start in the beer business when he started working for a brewery cleaning kegs and tanks. Since then, he dreamt of opening up his brewery one day. Revolution is detail-oriented in everything they do, from their mahogany bar to their eight 800-barrel fermenters at the brewery. They produce dozens of different beer styles each year, as in IPAs, pale ales, porters, and the list goes on. Revolution currently distributes in 8 states.

In 2010, Eriksson Engineering Associates, Ltd. (EEA) assisted Revolution Brewing with their brewpub, located at 2323 N. Milwaukee Avenue. EEA provided utility design services for a new sanitary sewer line out to N. Milwaukee Ave., sidewalk removal and replacement, road right-of-way restoration, and permitting through the various City of Chicago permitting agencies to obtain a permit to construct.
