Red Hawk Apartments

The Red Hawk Apartments Development will bring more market rate housing options to the Milton-area with the  construction of five new apartment buildings with one, two, and three-bedroom units. Eriksson Engineering Associates, Ltd. (EEA) is providing civil engineering services for Phase I of the project, including a master plan for the 13-acre parcel, entitlement assistance, and site engineering services to support the construction of three apartment buildings, community building, private parking lots, a playground, and public road extensions. Phase II will further expand the complex with two additional 36-unit buildings and associated parking.

Most of the detention will be constructed in Phase I per Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources’ codes and requirements. Utilities within the dedicated road will also be public supplies (sanitary and water).

Earlier in the project, EEA provided design solutions for navigating overflow from a residential subdivision development to the west of Red Hawk Apartments. This overflow was contained within an easement that ran down the middle of the Red Hawk Apartment property. This stormwater flow had to be collected, piped, and safely routed through the proposed stormwater management system. The stormwater management system utilized a treatment train approach. Most of the development was routed through a bioswale that discharged to a forebay to help collect sediment before entering an infiltration basin.

Once complete, Red Hawk Apartments will be the largest housing development of its type in Milton since 2008.
