Museum Park

Part of the Central Station neighborhood, the new Museum Park development includes stately town homes along Indiana, luxury town home adjacent to Daniel Webster Park, and seven residential tower buildings with views of the city skyline and Lake Michigan.

Consultants from EEA were challenged to provide the necessary infrastructure elements to sustain the residential development without compromising beauty and function. The every-changing demands of the City of Chicago Department of Water Management required the design of a very large underground stormwater detention system for the project.

Having to manage project phasing on a previously occupied site, EEA has played a vital role in the coordination of the design of future building foundation systems to ensure the newly constructed utilities would not have to be moved or reconstructed.

Construction has been completed on the Park East, Chicago, Museum Homes Luxury, Park II, Park West and Museum Park Chicago II Townhomes. Additionally, EEA has assisted in developing site plans for a community center; Residential Towers 1, 2 and 3; Museum Park Boulevard Homes; Museum Park Loft Building 1; Museum Park Tower 4; and One Museum Park East Tower; all affiliated with the project.

Civil engineering improvements have a construction value in excess of $1.5 million.
