Falcon Park

Falcon Park, a 14-acre park facility, was built for the expanded use of Palatine residents and those in the surrounding communities.

Located near the intersection of Hicks Road and Rand Road, the property is tucked into a heavily dense multi-family residential neighborhood, fostering a sense of relaxation and fun. Visitors can reach Falcon Park by both Hicks Road and Coach Road, making the facility accessible for community users in all directions.

At the center of the property site is a 50,000-square-foot recreation center housing an indoor synthetic turf field, gymnasium, suspended walking track, program/meeting spaces, and offices, making this building alone a common gathering place for various different uses. Outside the space is a natural grass athletic field for football and baseball, three parking areas—complete with 212 parking spaces—convenient pick-up and drop-off lanes, and a native vegetation-based stormwater detention basin.

Since its opening, Falcon Park has attracted community members of all ages and provides unique facilities to complement its many other District sites.
