Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital

EEA prepared construction drawings for several phased expansions at Delnor Hospital.

Each of the projects was awarded to separate general contractors, which required extensive attention to detail and “buildability.” The first three projects included a helipad relocation, relocation of the major ring road, a 700-space parking expansion, and a new emergency room. Following projects included a new professional building and ambulatory service center and 4-story patient-centered addition on the west side of the campus.

Most recently, EEA assisted Delnor in designing a 325-car parking lot expansion and subdivision access drive. The existing stormwater management system was analyzed, and all projects were upgraded to reflect current municipal stormwater regulations.

Civil engineering components of these projects have a combined construction value of more than $4.75 million.
