Chatham Park Indianapolis

Eriksson Engineering Associates Ltd. (EEA) collaborated with design team partners on Chatham Park, a mixed-use residential development in Indianapolis, Indiana. The project is located in the Chatham Arch neighborhood, known for its location on the Indianapolis Cultural Trail and 19th century architecture.

Chatham Park features a mix of townhomes, duplexes, retail space and two four-story condominium buildings with a total of 55 units.  Among the amenities is an underground parking structure for convenient tenant parking.

The compact 1.80-acre project site made meeting stormwater detention requirements more challenging. EEA civil engineers recommended installing a small vault and permeable pavers to maximize detention and lower the cost of the project. The team also executed the site grading, utility connections, driveway pavement, and permitting.
