Northlight Theatre recently celebrated a ribbon cutting for its new home in downtown Evanston! The Northlight Theatre Company, originally formed in 1974, was located in Skokie for the last 30 years and recently returned home to Evanston this summer. With about 285 seats and 25,000 square feet, this new $33 million ground up theater was designed by Eckenhoff Saunders with the help of the theater planning consultant Schuler Shook.

It was a great project to work on, and EEA was proud to provide civil engineering services for this important site. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for theater patrons as productions start this fall.
