Adventist Hinsdale Hospital

EEA has worked with Adventist Hinsdale Hospital on two recent large-scale improvement projects, an emergency department expansion and inpatient pavilion.

The existing emergency department project required the re-design of the entrance roadway and access lanes, as well as re-grading of an entrance ramp.

EEA also assisted Adventist Hinsdale in the development of a new inpatient pavilion, suspended over existing parking and access lanes. In addition to the re-design of entrance and exit roadways, EEA provided the client significant cost savings by determining the best way to manage storm water and connect sewer lines. After identifying the location of current sewer outlets, EEA’s design collected storm water, fed sewer lines through the existing parking structure and utilized these existing connections rather than directing new channels around the parking structure and new facility.

EEA’s unique design also prevented major disruption to other areas of the campus, allowing clients and their customers to use the facility safely and efficiently.
