Ss. Peter & Paul Parish & School

Over the course of 10 years, EEA participated in the design of several projects at Ss. Peter & Paul Parish. The parish site was comprised of existing buildings several decades old with the main sanctuary incorporating a unique column and stained-glass exterior. EEA and the design team was left with the task of developing new, up-to-date facilities while creating seamless designs and functionality both inside and out.

To accommodate the rapidly growing community, the parish enlisted the help of EEA consultants to develop a new addition to the original church building. The addition provided a larger entry, gathering space with new restrooms and full kitchen, as well as several rooms of various sizes in the basement to accommodate social events, storage and meeting spaces. An expanded and redesigned parking lot, along with separate entry, drop off and exit lanes, also improved use on the site.

EEA later worked with the parish in the design and construction of an addition that more than doubled the size of the current school on site. The new portion of the building was comprised of three floors of multi-functional space, including classrooms, computer, math and science labs, offices, a teachers’ lounge, social spaces and a library. With this project, EEA also  assisted in the design of a stormwater detention basin near the rectory and convent buildings on the campus.
