Monroe Central School Corporation is located in Parker City in central Indiana. The district consists of two public schools — Monroe Central Elementary School and Monroe Central Jr./Sr. High School — and is the result of a consolidation of four schools in the area.
The school was experiencing significant infiltration issues with the existing sanitary sewer service, so EEA engineers were engaged to perform an analysis of the existing conditions and provide a report of our findings with recommendations. With input from district, State, and County officials, the Board of Education chose to pursue two improvement projects simultaneously: A new sanitary lift station and 7,000 linear feet of gravity sewer replacement and a new heat-fused force main over the same distance.
Throughout the project, our engineers were careful to plan the work to avoid as much disruption as possible to both the school district and neighboring landowners.
