BMO Harris Milwaukee Construction Access Parking Lot

Eriksson Engineering Associates, Ltd. (EEA) provided civil engineering services for a temporary surface/parking lot for the new 25-story BMO Tower in downtown Milwaukee, WI. With its position on the new Milwaukee Streetcar route, the site is directly accessible to the Historic Third Ward, Lakefront District, Lower East Side, and the regional transit center.

EEA assisted the contractor with permitting to enable the construction of the guard station within the parking lot as well as the construction of the BMO Tower. Our scope of work also included coordinating a new location for the parking lot kiosk and guard station, designing the kiosk pad and pavement, and routing utilities to the kiosk to prevent disruption to the existing bank building — maximizing the functionality of the parking lot area left open to the public.

Until the completion of the tower, the parking lot will provide space for staging construction activities and equipment.

This project is located just steps away from EEA’s Milwaukee office.
